KC Midwest Books is an independent bookseller in Leawood, Kansas. We specialize in rare and antiquarian books with historical and scholarly value, especially medical history and early science, alongside out-of-print scholarship and a well-chosen mix of modern titles. We serve collectors, researchers, institutions, and curious readers.
Why Collectors Buy From Us
We believe good bookselling starts with careful description, honest condition notes, and responsive service. Whether you are looking for a collectible edition, a research copy, or an obscure scholarly title, we aim to make the process straightforward and dependable.
Not everything on our shelves is centuries old. Alongside the antiquarian books, we list a well-chosen mix of modern titles: out-of-print scholarship, hard-to-find paperbacks and hardcovers, and good reading copies in medicine, science, history, and the humanities. Honest condition notes and careful packing on every order.
